Dr. Khanal is a second-year Family Medicine Resident at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center. She chose Family Medicine because she believes it is where she can be the biggest advocate for her patients and community. She is passionate about providing care to underserved communities and those affected by socioeconomic determinants of health. Dr. Khanal provides full-spectrum care to patients of all ages in Baldwin County. Her professional interests include mental health, reproductive health and health advocacy.
Prior to joining South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, Dr. Khanal completed her master’s in medical sciences at the University of South Florida and her doctorate at Ross University School of Medicine. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking and finding new places to explore with her husband.
